SAARC Training workshop on "Aquatic (Stream) insects useful for monitoring water quality”

Aquatic Ecology Centre (AEC) and Environmental Resources Research Center (ERRC), Trivandrum, Kerala, India announces a training workshop for staff, researchers and students of SAARC countries (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives) on "Aquatic (stream) insects useful for monitoring water quality" from 4th to 13th October, 2017, at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.  The instructors of the workshop are world renowned Freshwater Biologists from USA, New Zealand and Taiwan (Professor John Morse, Dr. Richard Storey and Dr Senthi Kumaran) who are specialized in the areas of taxonomy, and ecology of stream insects and stream monitoring and health. Two to three participants will be selected from Nepal for participation in this training workshop. Those of you who are interested are hereby informed to send an email to aec@ku.edu.np for willingness to participate. AEC deserves the right to final selection based on individual participant's qualification, commitment and motivation.
