Kathmandu University celebrates 18th KU day

KU Day The 18th anniversary of the establishment of Kathmandu University was celebrated as KU DAY amidst a special ceremony organized in the premises of KU Complex at Balkumari, Lalitpur on December 10, 2009.  The function was attended by officials, faculties and staffs of the university as well as some specially invited guests. 

During the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma congratulated all family members and hailed their contribution for contributing to bring the university at this stage. He also highlighted on the changing role and responsibilities of the university and upcoming challenges for the continued sustenance of the university. He inspired audience telling that Kathmandu University had taken many challenges and crossed the many adverse situations in the past and in future also it will be able to cross all the obstacles and will achieve its objectives.  Registrar Dr. Bhadra Man Tuladhar, in his congratulatory note highlighted on the achievements as well as different policies and strategies KU may follow in coming days to continuously uplifting the KU's status nationally and internationally. 

Dean, School of Engineering Dr. Bhola Thapa, highlighted on the status and strategies for research at KU and Finance Manager Mr.  Kumar Baral made an extensive presentation on financial status of the university along and also suggested some possible strategies to further enhance the financial status during the event.
