Design of Optimum Cellular Mobile Network for a City in 1800MHz Band

This project attempts to suggest a higher technology standard for use in mobile communication field. It is highly dedicated to the study and implementation of a cellular network design with an 1800 MHz carrier frequency. We are hopeful that our study and design proves fruitful for any mobile service provider or anyone related to this field to develop a detailed concept about the cellular radio transmission in 1800 MHz carrier frequency.

This project report includes the description of new concepts used, the basic terminologies and different components of the mobile communication system. Design of the cellular network for an arbitrary city including all the necessary calculations of capacity planning, coverage planning and frequency planning are incorporated in the report. The Matlab simulation codes, GUI and excel calculation charts are also included with all necessary figures, tables and block diagrams.

With the completion of this project we have build up the self-confidence and we are eager to implement our project in the practical field.
