Study and Design of WLL

In hilly regions of Nepal, the problem of laying copper wires for communication system is a challenging job. The solution to this problem is the wireless communication and we have chosen Wireless Local Loop (WLL) as a means of wireless communication.

We have divided Bhaktapur into seven cells and calculated free space and path loss in each cell to know the minimum transmitter power required for the given receiver sensitivity. We have also calculated the fade margin, propagation unavailability, and the Fresnel zone clearance for the functioning of the WLL system.
