GPS Module Design and Demonstration

GPS, a navigational tool, is being widely used all over the globe for different purposes especially in air and sea navigations. The advantages of this technology we widely exposed to obtain accurate and reliable position information.

Our project uses a GARMIN GPS 15L chipset (and GA 25MCX Low Profile GPS Antenna) to module the system, to understand the satellite navigational system in detail and to explore its available functionalities.

The whole GPS module we have designed is able to get the sentences that are transmitted by the GPS satellites and then manipulating these sentences we can obtained the required +its which are then used to plot and display the position of the receiver in the monitor.

Hence developed GPS module can be implemented in different fields viz. car tracking, controlling, positioning, aviation, traffic monitoring and much more.
