EEEG 205                  ENGINEERING PROJECT                        1 Credit

Objective:

  1. To apply the knowledge gained from various courses in carrying out electrical and electronic system design and its implementation
  2. To develop skills in goal setting, planning, investigation and research, teamwork, implementation, assessment, report writing and presentation
  3. To develop practical skills required for real engineering practice, from conceptualisation to effective realization

Outline:
Students will work in a group.  Following discussions with a group advisor, the group will decide a project to work on and set out their aims and objectives. The group will work in this semester on research, background investigation, and specification of the project. The library and laboratories will be available as resources.  A group report will be prepared and a group presentation will be delivered at the end of the semester to show the progress and plan of action for the next semester.
