3- Day Training on Data Analysis using R
Organized by
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
It is a 3-day long training program going to be organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University. R Programming is now inevitable for researchers. R programming is a statistical software that can be used to visualize and analyze data. During this 3 days, participants will study how to use R programming to analyze their data collected during research.

Data Analysis is a process used to transform, remodel and revise certain information with a view to reach to a certain conclusion for a given situation or problem. Data analysis can be done by different methods as according to the needs and requirements of different domains like science, business, social science etc. Data analysis, in a research supports the researcher to reach to a conclusion. Therefore, simply stating that data analysis is important for a research will be an understatement rather no research can survive without data analysis.

What is R?
  • R is data analysis software
  • R is a general purpose programming language
  • R is an environment for statistical analysis
  • R is an open source software project.
  • R is a community
